Software Engineer and Doctoral Researcher

I'm a software engineer and doctoral researcher at the Bits to Energy Lab, ETH Zurich. My research focuses on how digital technologies and digitalization of the retail space can support food-related interventions that promote health, reduce food waste, and lower carbon emissions.
Before my PhD, I earned a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, with a focus on computer science and engineering.
I have professional experience in full-stack software engineering in the FinTech and EdTech sectors. I now draw on this background to design and build new tools and methods for researching food behaviors.
